A magical blog from Magical Mel
International Happiness Day
UK ranks 23rd happiest country in the world according to the UK 2016 World Happiness Report. March 20th is International Day of Happiness. It was set up in 2012 by the United Nations General Assembly. In the UK, Action for Happiness (Patron Dalai Lama), helps people take action for a happier and more caring world. Relax Kids (Official Action for Happiness partner) are supporting International Day of Happiness in three ways, classes, free activity pack and miles of smiles. Relax Kids coaches around the world will be running a series of Happiness classes for children to help support their emotional health and wellbeing. Classes include movement, games, stretching, peer massage, breathing, positive affirmations and visualisation.
Miles of Smiles Relax Kids coaches will also be encouraging schools and community groups/organisations to get together and write down a happy moment or what happiness means to them. These words will be used to create a colourful miles of smiles paper chain. You can get your free happiness paper chains in the happiness pack. Download the FREE happiness pack for your home or school. Pack includes a happiness diary, cards, happiness tokens, a happiness tree and happiness paper chains http://www.relaxkids.com/happiness-pack
Magical Mel has private sessions during the morning then open to anyone from 12-3.45 for free fun to put smiles miles. She is also asking on Facebook for people to send her pictures of themselves smiling aiming to gather 200 before 9pm Monday 20th March.
